The terraced villas have two or three bedrooms and are luxuriously equipped with fully-fitted kitchens, including a washing-machine and washing-up machine, with terraces, gardens and private garage, some with even a private swimming pool and marvellous ocean views. The complex has one large adult swimming pool with sun-beds and sunshades and another separate one for children. The Amarilla Golf Development is located in one of the most outstanding locations in the South of Tenerife, between the Amarilla Golf and Golf del Sur Courses and enjoys marvellous views of the marina. In the vicinity of the complex, you can enjoy a range of beaches, golf courses, a riding centre, paddle tennis and tennis courts as well as all water sports, including deep-sea fishing. Amarilla Golf is located between residential and holiday accommodation units; the streets are lined with terraced villas or apartments along at least half their length. Designed by Donald Steel in the late 1980s, Amarilla Golf is a course which is laid out in an imaginative style, located between the intense blue of the Atlantic Ocean and the highest mountain in Spain, the majestic Mount Teide. It is one of life's hidden jewels; in 1990, a round of the European PGA golf tournament was held here. Amarilla Golf Club is an official club located on the course, without being the owner, which consists of about 200 members, who are mainly British although there are other nationalities and the Club organises competitions every Thursday and Sunday morning. The fifth, a short par 3, is the hole that enthrals every player; the yellow tee is only 115 metres from the hole but there is no fairway, only the sea, your ball lands on a small green where you can play with any club from a wedge to a 5 iron, depending on the climatic conditions. This hole on the island of Tenerife is considered to be one of the most spectacular par threes in the world. The new San Miguel marina with 344 berths is near the twelfth tee. The views of the elegant yachts, which sail around Tenerife enjoying the sun, the warm climate, add even more pleasure to the island.
